the brainchild of four friends - they wanted to create a new Muslim-friendly eatery serving top quality fare. Our founders, who have extensive experience in food and beverage, wanted to create a unique space that offers a diverse range of cuisines while also being inclusive of Muslim dietary restrictions.

At Gila Makan, we strive to create an environment that is not only welcoming but also socially responsible. We have partnered with Social Kitchen, a social enterprise, to provide employment opportunities for individuals with mental challenges, helping them to contribute to our back-of-the-house operations.

Our food hall consists of six stalls, each offering their own unique cuisine. Brani By Briyani 47 is a famous briyani outlet that serves a variety of Bangladeshi-style briyanis. Steel Pot By Mooteow offers classic Teochew-style beef kway teow. Mama Lemak, brought to you by the creators of Beach Road Nasi Lemak, offers a variety of nasi lemak dishes and side dishes such as Otah Fries and Quail Egg Sambal. Hoppers By The Ceylonese Affair offers a selection of sweet and savoury appams, and Walf & Co. By Wild Market serves up western dishes such as pasta, all-day breakfast, and a variety of waffles.

At our beverage stall, you can find classic drinks, as well as some interesting options like Gula Melaka Coffee and Iced Horlicks Dinosaur. We invite you to come and experience the unique blend of flavours that Gila Makan has to offer.
