The Crocodile brand was originated in Singapore in 1947. It started out selling singlets, and had since grown into an international lifestyle brand.

The founder, Dato’ Dr Tan Hian Tsin, labeled the brand after a “tough animal” with an enduring lifespan and exotic skin.

These qualities resonated with his emphasis on delivering attractive products with lasting qualities.

The animal became an integral part of the brand that he used live crocodiles as a marketing tool during that time.
