Issey Miyake's iconic PLEATS PLEASE collection, launched in 1993, comprises of apparels that are made from high quality, 100 per cent polyester fabric which are first cut, sewn together and then hand-fed into a heat press sandwiched between two sheets of paper.

The result: permanent pleats – vertical, horizontal and zig-zags – that create architectural shapes when worn.

First unveiled in September 2010, BAO BAO ISSEY MIYAKE redefined the earlier Bilbao series.

The signature accessories line is known for its dramatic shapes made up of geometric prisms.

Light and malleable, it folds and takes the shape of its contents, and creates unexpected silhouettes when hand carried.
