In 1888, Obermain began creating quality shoes and boots in Burgkunstadt, a town on the Upper Main River whose leather goods were sought by elite professionals in turn-of-the-century Germany.

Today, Obermain, which means ‘upper main’ in German, is proud to stay true to Burgkunstadt’s legacy of craftsmanship and material excellence.
