Bally – the Swiss Heritage Luxury House – was founded in Switzerland in 1851 by Carl Franz Bally after chancing upon a pair of boots in his Paris trip. This eye-opening encounter gave inspiration for Bally.

Since its beginnings, the fashion house has become renowned for its innovation and skill. Bally’s craftsmen produce shoes of the highest quality using the finest leathers.

One of its greatest milestones was in 1953 when Nepali-Indian Sherpa mountaineer Tenzing Norgay – the first man to summit Mount Everest, along with Edmund Hillary – donned a pair of Bally Reindeer-Himalaya boots and conquered the mountain.

In February 2019, Bally took the unprecedented step of appointing Deng Lun as its first male Asia-Pacific brand ambassador. The Chinese actor is set to debut alongside Australian supermodel Charlee Fraser in the upcoming Spring/Summer Californian campaign, followed by a journey to the Swiss mountains to honour the brand’s Helvetian heritage for the Autumn/Winter collection.

The brand’s rich heritage continues to show in its collections today, which includes shoes, leather goods, and ready-to-wear apparel.
