In 1969, Henri Charpentier opened its doors in Ashiya, Kobe Prefecture as a "Salon de Thé" cafe, offering unique sweets and desserts.

With a group of chef friends who shared their knowledge and expertise, each dish was prepared with care, creating a performance-like atmosphere for customers.

Over the past 50 years, with the support of our customers, we have expanded our reach throughout Japan, available in department stores, shopping malls, and souvenir shops.

Despite our growth, we remain true to our roots, relying on the skilled hands of our chefs to prepare every cake and baked good, preserving the "unchanging values" that have been the backbone of Henri Charpentier from the beginning.
