As a concept recognized by the Michelin Guide Singapore, we're inspired by the resilient city of Ishinomaki, once a flourishing fishing center in Miyagi Prefecture, which was tragically impacted by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and tsunami.
Our journey started in 2013, when chef-owner Chi Pin Han, profoundly moved by the courage and resilience of the city's survivors, founded Ishinomaki Grill & Sake.
With his vast experience in Japanese cuisine and a passionate team, we have crafted a menu that showcases the distinctiveness of Japanese flavors and the gifts of the four seasons.
Our commitment extends to supporting the revival of Ishinomaki, collaborating closely with local Japanese produce purveyors to serve high-quality, fresh seafood and ingredients from Ishinomaki and other parts of Japan.
