Eng's Wanton Mee is a legendary food establishment that has been serving up delicious noodles for over 50 years. Our founder, Mr Ng Ba Eng, started selling his iconic noodles from a humble pushcart, which has now become a beloved household name across Singapore.
The secret to our success is rooted in Mr Ng's passion and commitment to his craft, resulting in noodles that are packed with a unique blend of flavors and textures. As a testament to his dedication, he won multiple awards over the years for his incredible noodles.
Mr Ng's son, Mr Desmond Ng, joined the business in 2009 to help his father run the stall. The family's dedication and hard work helped to propel Eng's Wanton Mee to even greater heights.
In 2012, a man named Mr Jason Sim approached the family with a business proposal to expand the brand. Eng's Noodle House was then incorporated in February of that year and relocated to 287 Tanjong Katong Road, where we continue to serve up the best noodles in town.
Although Mr Ng Ba Eng passed away from a heart attack in 2013, his legacy continues to live on through the family and the business. Unfortunately, there have been some complications due to a lawsuit between his children and the business partner, but we remain committed to preserving the family's traditions and providing our loyal customers with the same delicious noodles that they have come to know and love over the years.
