The name Lai Chi came about from the love of nasi lemak and popiah, especially so when the co founder whose family runs a michellin star popiah store delivered popiah to our office on one fine Sunday where we happen to have cooked nasi lemak as well. Tasting the combination of the 2, we found that it went well together and thus Lai Chi came about.
