Jiak Zhey 吃斋 (eating vegetarian food in Hokkien) is the new brand of popular hawker vegetarian food in Geylang East Food Centre by Madam Heng Cheng Kiow and her son, Sean Lui.

From the stall’s classic zhey (vegetarian) bee hoon to local hearty delights like mee siam and mee robus, Mdm Heng creates authentically multi-layered tastes by using produce like blue ginger, fermented soya bean, tamarind, laska leaves, assam, blah keluak and other spices!
